In late-May 2020, I was commissioned by Public Art Reston and the town center property owners to create a chalk drawing in the Reston Town Center to provide visual, moral support to the community during the Covid-19 lock-down.  I chose to draw a cardinal and the flowering dogwood, since they are the Virginia state bird and flower.

My work was used for the cover of the The Connection, June 2020 issue.
